Most program evaluations involve evaluating both the process and outcomes of a program. Process evalution is about understanding how your program worked. Outcome evaluations measure the direct effects of a program. This worksheet quiz lists a variety items one might include in an evaluation and asks you to determine whether each item would be used in a process evaluation or an outcome evaluation. This worksheet is a great tool for evaluators to use when training or building the capacity of partners or clients to participate in evaluation efforts. At SPS, we use it in our Evaluation 101 trainings!
