Youth Violence Compendium Excerpt

In 2005, The Division of Violence Prevention in the National Center for Injury Prevention and Control at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention published a compendium of surveys and questions commonly used in evaluating efforts to prevent youth violence. This compendium provides researchers, evaluators, and prevention practitioners with tools to assess violence-related beliefs, behaviors, and influences, as well as to evaluate programs to focused on preventing youth violence. This excerpt lists the measures and assessments available on attitudes and beliefs, psychosocial and cognitive factors, behavior, and environmental factors.
